Brady's Birthday Party

Olivia was so excited to go to her first friend from preschool's birthday party.  And her favorite friend in preschool.  Shhh don't tell her other friends.  Brady!  Even more exciting was that she had been sick and got better just in time for the party.  Don't even ask how stressful that was.  I was crossing all my fingers that she would be better, she wanted to go so bad!

It was a PJ Mask party!  When we got there they asked her who her favorite character was and outfitted her with her cape and mask in that character.  Liv chose Owlette!

And away we went into the backyard to fight the bad guys and save the day.  Or you know play on the swingset.

There were tattoos.  I was shocked when Olivia said she wanted one.  Typically she does not like stamps or tattoos.  Anything she can't wash off is a no go.  I mean when we were in Seattle she got a stamp at the Pacific Science Center and then that night insisted that it had to come off and I tried everything I could think of to get rid of it.  But apparently PJ Mask tattoos are her thing now.

My little Owlette supergirl.

The party kids.

Brady's Dad had set up an obstacle course for the kids.  All of the adults jumped in to help and take a spot.  It was kind of adorable to watch the kids all go through and see how much fun they had.

You ended at a punch box where you picked a hole and got the prize inside!  A PJ Mask character!

Liv originally ended up with one of the villains but after everyone had gone through she was able to trade it out for Owlette.  Best day ever.

Liv and Brady!

Preschool friends!

Liv left so excited.  She got to keep all her Owlette gear and had a fantastic time celebrating Brady!

Dash For Cash 2017

April means Dash for Cash month for us at school.  It's a long month.  At least this year it was.  It was my first year volunteering to help with the behind the scenes stuff.  Counting the money the kids are raising.  Handing out prizes.  There is a lot of behind the scenes stuff.  A LOT!  If you don't help your PTSO, go now.  Do it. Help them.  Trust me they do way more than you think they do.  And they can always use your help.  I mean they are doing this for YOUR kids.  Theirs too.  Obviously.  But also yours.  Okay stepping down.  I was just blown away by what goes on every single morning during fund raising month.

Now for the fun.  Jen and the girls were in town.  Dash for Cash is a good time to come see the school and participate in the fun.  I planned that we would run with Preston's grade.  Help with the final morning count.  Meet Preston for lunch.  Run with the current kinders.  Bring ice cream to Preston's class.  You know full day it.

Preston's grade was the first group to run.  So we went to school with him.  Bright and early.  Ha!

His class all ready to go!

These two girls ready to get their race on!

Preston and his best buddy Rylan!

Olivia was on it!  Look at her go!  And then run back to be with me.  Mama doesn't run.  Unless someone is chasing me.

Back again to run with the kinders.  Knowing how competitive Preston's kinder teacher is, we signed up with her group to make sure they got our laps.

We found Izzie!

And Otter Pops!  Winning.

We had some time to kill so we stuck around for a couple recesses.  The sun was out and the weather was great so it seemed like a good time to enjoy it!

Then to Preston's class to share some ice cream treats with them!  To say way to go guys!

Considering it was Preston's school event you would think I would have all of these photos of him. Nope. He was so busy running around and hanging with his friends that he wasn't hanging with us!

Best news was that our school hit our goal!  We raised just over what we were trying to do!  Way to go kids!!

Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt

Per Easter tradition, flashlight egg hunt time!

The kids get so dang excited!

Preston was sick over the weekend but we figured after resting all day some fresh air would do him good.  As if it's not bad enough to be sick Easter weekend and have to miss out on all of the Easter celebrations, we couldn't skip the flashlight egg hunt too!

The kids hunt on opposite sides of the park.  Brad heads with Preston and I stick with Liv.  She was on it!

Olivia took in a haul!  She definitely know how to egg hunt!  Even in the dark!

When Olivia was done hunting the little kid side, we headed over to the big kid side and looked around for Preston.  We never found him.  Either because it was so dark or because he didn't stop moving.  So we headed back to the parking lot to meet up.

Olivia and Izzie!

We found him!  Going through their goodies!

Please stand and smile!  Together!  Just one time!

My family!

More sorting!  While I tried to keep Olivia from eating all of the candy she opened.

My big boy!

We're ready for Easter now!

Olivia School Preschool Pictures

Preschool photos!  I was so excited to get to dress Olivia up!

Her class was only doing a whole class photo.  So obviously we had to take a few at home of just her!

Isn't she just the cutest!
