Olivia's First Day Of Preschool

I should start by saying that I don't even know how this happened.  Olivia's first day of preschool.  My baby!  A big girl.

Her first day of preschool.

We spent the morning relaxing.  Curling her hair.  Making a big deal about what a big day her first day of preschool was.

She was excited!  A little nervous but excited.  Which just goes to show how big my baby is.

I think she was more than a little excited too for the photos.  She's watched Preston and she was ready for her turn too!

Big first day of school photos.

Prepare yourself.  There are A LOT of photos.  My baby is starting school.  My baby is starting school.  That means I get to take photos!

Can't say I didn't warn you. So many photos.

Me and my girl.

After alllllllllll those photos, we realized it was so much warmer out than we thought it was.  Like way warmer.  And umm we were intentionally ready early so that we could be on time, early even for preschool.  And then we had to change our clothes.  Liv switched from leggings to shorts under her skirt.  And I put on a short sleeve shirt.  But then we had a problem.  Her outfit technically had changed.  So we took some more photos.

My best girl!

I think she might have been over taking photos at this point.

Not sure why.  Ha!

And we were off for preschool!

First day of preschool!  My big girl in her classroom.

And she was ready.  Walked in, gave me a hug, and she was off with her class.

It might have helped that after orientation when the parents went upstairs for a meeting and the kids stayed downstairs in the classroom with Mrs Suzy, Olivia thought that was how preschool went.  Parents went upstairs while the kids learned.  So when we talked about preschool, she mentioned how I was going to be upstairs with the parents.  And you know what, I took it.  Told her I would be upstairs.  And then I did just that.  Hung out upstairs the whole time.  Judge away.  But it helped her feel safe and like she could handle her first day of preschool.

And she rocked it.  My big brave girl!

Happy first day of preschool Olivia!   I don't know how you are this big already.
