This time to visit Grandma Dottie!
Our flight was bright and early. Like it left at 6:20 in the morning. OMG. We were at the airport at five. In the AM. I can't even. It was rough.
The kids were excited and full of energy. Even for how early it was.
Olivia got to sit by me on the flight. And Preston got Grandma.
At our stopover in Boise. We didn't have to get off. Just wait while everyone else got off and back on.
How cute are these two!
We survived! Baggage claim. Getting ALL of our luggage onto the rental bus. Off the rental bus. To the rental car counter. And then best of all, we got all of it into the little rental car! Hurray! Next we just had to drive from Oakland to Sacramento. With the kids. After being up since 4 o'clock in the morning. Good times.
It may have taken nearly all day, but I finally finally got my Starbucks. Thank goodness!
Not to be left out, Preston and Olivia got cake pops!
My Grandma was in the process of moving from one house to the next. So things were a little chaotic. We helped unload things and boxes. Find homes for new things.
The kids were incredibly helpful. Playing music for us on her organ and piano.
But really they were totally awesome for how long our day was and how busy things were even once we got there. It was pure insanity and they rolled with it.
One day down, one week to go!
