Say What Preston?!

"This is taking forever! And I don't like patience! At all. And I don't like holding my horses!"

---------------

Me: "Tell Daddy you need to go to bed."

Preston: "Daddy, Mommy said I could stay up all night."

---------------

"I want chicken nuggets and french fries and chepup. Don't forget the chepup. It's really important."

I know I should correct the way he says ketchup, but I just love the way he says it.

---------------

A giant crash upstairs was followed by...

Preston (to Brad): "Mommy is not going to be happy about that."

---------------

Preston: "If everyone yells at the same time in the entire world it would be pretty loud right?

Me: "Yes!"

Preston: "That would be a big headache!"

---------------

"Sure bagels are good. I love 'em!"

---------------

"What do you mean silly?"

---------------

"Mama! your phone is at twelve percent! You shouldn't be using it! Here I plugged it in for you. With the long cord so you can still use it."

---------------

"I can't stay in there any longer! My tummy hurts really bad. Must be from a small room!"

He'd gotten into big trouble and had to spend a long time in his bedroom. This was his excuse for why he had to come out. His room really isn't even small!

---------------

"Are we almost out of gas or what?"

He was sick of being in the car and wanted out!

---------------

"You don't have to talk. Just listen."

---------------

"Army of States."

This is what Preston calls the United States Army. Which is who is army men are when he plays with them every single day. No matter how many times we tell him it's United States Army, he calls them the Army of States.

---------------

"Everyone clapped at the end. They must have liked it right?"

While talking to Brad about his Veteran's Day concert at preschool.
