With Summer coming to an end and Preston starting preschool soon, we are trying to soak up every last bit of Summer we can!
There is this gorgeous park here that I like to visit at least once a Summer. It's on the opposite side of town as us so we don't get up there a lot. But it's just so beautiful that I like to get up there at least once a year to see all of the gardens.
We started in the garden with the fountain.
What is it with kids and water? I mean seriously.
When they were over the fountain we moved into the back of the garden and they played in the gazebo and the trees behind the gazebo. It's amazing how entertaining simple things can be to little kids!
I'd taken Preston into the conservatory before with Marrissa a couple summers ago and he insisted that he had to go in again. He loves the waterfall and the plants and the room full of cactus.
Walking down the path we ended up in the Japanese gardens. They had a waterfall that the boys both loved. And ponds all around the area. Trails. Little hiding areas. It was a lot of fun.
We decided to take some cute family photos.
I took one of Kelly and Zack and Ryan first. Then I told Preston it was his turn. And he jumped into their photo! So freaking funny! And cute! I'd meant it was his turn to take a photo with me!
When it was our turn to take a photo. Since Preston had taken a photo with them, Zack wanted one with us too! Love that these boys love each other so much!
Then it really was our turn!
We had to leave after the Japanese gardens because Preston had his first soccer practice! But I'm so glad we got up there for a couple of hours with friends!
