It's Vacation Time!

Our Summer just got very exciting! And busy. On Wednesday morning me and Preston officially started our Summer of Vacations!

Bright and early Wednesday morning, okay let's me more realistic we didn't actually leave until eight that morning, me and Preston took off for California with my Mom and youngest sister, Marrissa!

We drove because flying is just so dang expensive and then we'd have to rent a car too, but driving meant we were in the car for two whole days. It should have only been a day and a half but we hit construction on the second day and it took forever. It also brought out my inner road rage. Have I mentioned that I hate other drivers?

We'll be here for the next two weeks. Two weeks of sunshine. And hanging out by the pools, my Aunt and Grandma both have one. And FUN! And just enjoying seeing family that we don't get to see all that often!

Plus a certain little boy that you all know and love is turning FOUR while were here! Please excuse me while I try not to cry on my keyboard.

Then we head from here to the Oregon Coast! My parents rented a house on the beach in Oregon for a week. We're meeting my Dad, brother, sister, and nephew there. Preston loves the ocean and I am so excited that we get to take him back again this year!

And hopefully Brad will be meeting us at the coast with my Dad and family, but he's still not sure if he's going to be able to get the time off of work. And while it makes me and Preston so incredibly sad that he might not be able to come it is such a relief to be able to say that he might not be able to come because there is WORK!

I can't mention these vacations without sending a BIG THANK YOU to my parents! Not only did they rent the house in Oregon and invite all of us to tag along where the only expense to us is making dinner one night while we are there, but they also invited me and Preston to come to California and aren't charging us a penny to do so. My Mom just asked that I help her out with the driving. I am so incredibly grateful to have parents as amazing as mine are! We are unbelievably lucky!

For now we will just be enjoying our vacations. Speaking of which there is a pool out back and 90 degree weather calling my name!
