This weekend was just like any other weekend.
We went to a hockey game after a friend of mine got us tickets. Thanks Nicole!
I've never been to a hockey game before and neither has Preston, so we were both pretty excited!
Oh wait, I guess that wasn't just like any other weekend.
Me and my sister got a chance to go shopping and grab lunch. Together. All alone. Without our children. For several hours. I don't know if that has happened since before Preston and Mason arrived.
Hmmm, I guess that's not like any other weekend either.
On Sunday I met a friend of mine and her son at the mall. They live in Alaska and are visiting family and friends and I got lucky when she messed up (although it really didn't look that bad) cutting her son's hair and decided to drive an hour to have it fixed. An hour that meant she was close enough for me to meet them and us to grab lunch! Braxton is eighteen months and this was the first time that it's worked out for me to meet him! He was so stinkin' adorable!
Then Preston and I got out of the house to enjoy the sunshine and walk around in short sleeves without a sweatshirt!
Well, I guess that wasn't like any other weekend either.
Looks like this weekend wasn't just like any other weekend after all!
