FAILURE

That's right, failure. Our Christmas tree still sits undecorated. In our defense Brad had to work late tonight and there was no way that me and Preston were tackling the tree on our own. Tomorrow will be the day. Really it has to be the day because Christmas is getting closer and closer everyday. Plus I'm hosting a baby shower on Saturday and I can't have my guests seeing the naked Christmas tree sitting in our living room. It will get done...tomorrow.

I can't even find my stuff - so you are WAY ahead of me. I mean I got asked if I was doing Christmas this year! (We traveled last year and with the cats and huskies I really can't do much!)

Love your blog!

PS I was one of the crazies seeing New Moon at 12:05!!! Loved it!!

You are NOT a failure... you at least have your tree up! Mine is still in the garage, still in its box (it's fake, obviously!). You're ahead of the game!

We just got our tree up and decorated on Saturday but our house is a HUGE mess! Maybe you can ask your guests to help you decorate the tree as after-the-party party :)

Based on the preview this past weekend regarding our tribe of kids ability to NOT touch even just the candy canes on the tree------I think our tree will be getting decorated on Christmas eve!!

There are worse things, right?

Don't worry, we don't even have a tree yet. I insist on live trees (well they used to be live) because they smell so good...but if we got one already my house would surely burn down before Christmas since the thing would obviously spontaneously combust by then. Trust me...pisses my kids off to no end!

You can do it! We don't even have ours yet, and my husband is still debating even getting one because we have a baby and he's worried our son will get into the tree. Any suggestions, since you have a little one of your own?

Hi, I'm stopping by from SITS! I just wanted to share a bit of comment love.♥

Don't feel bad about the tree. It is still early yet. Take a DEEP breath! You will get it done. It works out every year, right?

I hope your Friday is absolutely amazing!

We just got ours decorated last night. Honestly, some people wait until the week before Christmas so you are doing good if you even have it up already! Just make sure to make it FUN while you decorate it. Music, cocoa, the works. Good luck with the baby shower!

OK, so you are way ahead of me. Our tree is at my next door neighbors house - packed up in her attic. Don't ask.

Say it's a theme a la Charlie Brown! Work it.

xx

P.S. My daughter thinks you're pretty...
