Preston decided to make use of all these cushions. And take advantage of a prime opportunity for jumping on the bed.
Preston would climb up on top of two of the cushions and jump. Over and over again! He was loving it. Our bed had turned into a jump and bounce.
When I pulled out the camera, Preston turned into quite the poser. He would jump and as he landed in the pillows, he'd turn to me and smile for his close-up. If the camera wasn't ready in time, Preston would demand that I take his picture by repeating, "Mama, cheese" unti I did. It was adorable.
Now the only problem is that when Preston sees a bed, he considers it a bounce house. I'm trying to decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I mean how much can his little 28 pd. body hurt a bed right?
PS I'm not sure if you got the memo, but Preston's Auntie ROCKS!

Oh my gosh Kim...he is adorable! Can't wait until Landon is running around just like that:)
The bed bounce is the best. What a fun mom you are for allowing it. :) I once tried throwing my cousin's boy around and have fun with him (not even bouncing on feet, but rather tossing him gently onto the couch) and he got in trouble by his dad. I don't know why that still bothers me...as if the couch means more than his entertainment with a cousin he's seen only a few times ever. Oh well. LOL I guess I'll get over it some day!
I must not let my children see this! My younger ones try to sneak some bouncing on my bed. They don't realise I can hear them quite clearly when I'm in the room downstairs!
What a cutie!! I love that he wasn't shy with the camera.
Ummm, I can remember my parents saying, "Don't jump on the bed!" So, I kind of cringe when I hear kids bouncing on the bed. Sort of a natural reflex. Lol.
